# Kommo alternatives: the 6 best options in 2026

*Felicia Ng — Senior Content Specialist*

## Summary

- For most sales teams, the Kommo alternatives choice turns on the billing unit.

- Kantar research for Meta found 77% of people say messaging is their preferred way to reach a business.

- Per-seat AI credits grow with headcount, while a contact-based allowance grows with customer volume.

- Count last month's conversations and active contacts per seat before comparing a single feature list.

- Choose SleekFlow if the AI allowance should follow customer volume, and Kommo if it should follow seats.

_**Author's note:**__ this roundup reflects SleekFlow's assessment. Product details are accurate as of publication and change often, so verify with each provider. Full note below._

You picked Kommo because it put WhatsApp and Instagram into one pipeline in an afternoon, and a new rep could learn the deal view on their first morning. Plenty of teams stay for exactly that.

The ones who start looking elsewhere have usually changed shape since they signed. More seats than the plan was sized for. More inbound than the setup routes cleanly. Or a contract term that no longer matches how the business grows.

None of that makes switching a small job: templates to re-approve, a live number to migrate, reps to retrain on a new inbox.

So here are the 6 platforms that come up most often in that conversation, and how each one works out your bill.

## Why look for a Kommo alternative?

Three things about Kommo's contract get more expensive as a team grows: a 6-month minimum with the whole workspace on one plan, AI credits allocated per seat, and an AI agent that only replies to messages you receive. All three are on Kommo's own pages, so run them against your own team before you renew.

Messaging is where these customers already are. [Kantar research for Meta](https://web-assets.bcg.com/31/de/4f9dec714be08e5f9a8b6a233087/leading-in-the-age-of-messaging.pdf) found 77% of people say messaging is their preferred way to communicate with a business, in a 22-market study that included Brazil and Mexico.

**The 6-month minimum covers the whole workspace.** Kommo sells subscriptions of 6, 9, 12 and 24 months, and its billing help page says the subscription applies to the entire workspace, so every user sits on the same plan (checked 8 Sep 2026). A part-time agent costs the same as your best closer, and there's no monthly option to test on.

**AI credits are allocated per seat.** Kommo publishes a monthly credit allowance per seat, multiplied by the seats on the account and renewed on your billing date (its pricing page, checked 8 Sep 2026). Add a seat and the allowance grows whether or not you have more customers to talk to. Since 1 Jun 2026, new accounts get the AI agent on Advanced and above, and each plan caps how many agents you can run.

**The AI agent answers, it doesn't open.** Kommo's documentation says the agent "only replies to incoming messages and can't start conversations" (support.kommo.com, checked 8 Sep 2026). For qualifying inbound leads, that's fine. For chasing a stalled deal, it isn't.

**Prices moved on 1 Sep 2026 for new customers.** Kommo's Brazil blog, dated 30 Jul 2026, announced a per-user increase on Base and Advanced for new customers, and said prices vary by market. Existing accounts keep their old rate, so check your own invoice before you compare anything.

None of that erases what Kommo does well. Setup is fast, the deal view is one of the easier ones for a new rep to learn, and it spells out what each plan includes in more detail than most platforms here. It has also invested heavily in LATAM, with subscriptions priced per user in USD or BRL on its Brazil site, partners across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru, and a G2 rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 104 reviews.

One cost sits outside all of this. Meta's [1 Oct 2026 pricing change](https://developers.facebook.com/documentation/business-messaging/whatsapp/pricing/non-template-messages) starts charging for service messages and for utility templates sent in reply, and it hits every platform built on the WhatsApp Business API, Kommo and SleekFlow included. Messages inside a 72-hour Click-to-WhatsApp-ad window stay free under this change, the one messaging path Meta didn't touch. The FAQ below has the details.

## Kommo alternatives compared at a glance

The 6 platforms that come up most often when teams compare Kommo are Octadesk, SleekFlow, Wati, Zenvia, Blip and respond.io. Three of them, Octadesk, Zenvia and Blip, are Brazil-based, reflecting Kommo's strong presence in Latin America. They split into Brazil-first service platforms, messaging inboxes with AI agents, and enterprise conversational platforms. The plan fee matters less than the unit each one charges you for.

Every cell comes from each provider's own published pages, checked 11 Sep 2026. We've left plan fees out on purpose: several of these providers price by market, so the only price that matters is the one on your own market's page.

These options are listed in no particular order. Have a look at each to see which best fits your team and your business needs.

## 1. Octadesk, best for Brazilian teams that want AI in every plan

Octadesk describes itself as a "plataforma de atendimento com IA". It's a Brazilian service and sales platform that puts its WOZ agent in every plan instead of saving it for the top tier, and it charges on conversation volume rather than seats, so hiring doesn't change the plan fee.

**Pros**

- WOZ agent, copilot and audio transcription are included on all three plans.
- Unlimited users on the base plan.
- Conversation allowances rise with each tier, so you upgrade on purpose instead of getting a surprise bill.

**Cons**

- Every plan requires a paid onboarding consultancy, quoted separately.
- The Helpdesk module is charged per user, on top of the plan.
- 5 channels published, and no Spanish-language site or support.

**What this means for you:** if your customers write to you in Spanish as well as Portuguese, rule this one out early, because Octadesk publishes nothing in Spanish.

## 2. SleekFlow, best for AI across sales, marketing and support

SleekFlow describes itself as the AI suite for revenue-driving conversations, and it publishes coverage from the first click to repeat purchase across sales, marketing and support. Its [Inbound Agent](/en-us/agentflow) handles sales inquiries and support requests end to end, qualifying leads, booking appointments and resolving issues, then escalating with a full summary.

**Pros**

- 9 messaging channels in one inbox, plus broadcast campaigns and ticketing, so sales, marketing and support work the same threads.
- AI agents are included on paid AI plans rather than sold as an add-on.
- [SOC 2 and ISO 27001](/en-us/trust-center) certified, with ISO 42001 for AI management.
- 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from 205 reviews, ahead of Kommo's 4.1 (checked 11 Sep 2026).

**Cons**

- No free plan, only a 7-day trial.
- AI usage sits under a [Fair Use Policy](/en-us/fair-use-policy) with a monthly allowance by contact tier.
- Plan fees vary by market, so [current plans](/en-us/pricing) depend on where you buy.

**What this means for you:** if you're adding conversations faster than reps, an allowance tied to contacts won't grow every time you hire.

[Checkmob](/en-us/customer-stories/checkmob), a Brazilian field-sales software provider, put AgentFlow on first contact, qualification and demo scheduling.

Results:

- 70% reduction in response time
- 20% increase in qualified demo bookings
- 30% time savings for the sales team

## 3. Wati, best for WhatsApp broadcasts on a small team

Wati calls itself "the #1 WhatsApp growth platform". It's built for teams that need broadcasts, a shared inbox and a chatbot builder without a full CRM. Its help centre describes Astra, its agent, as autonomous AI that handles conversations end to end with no human agent needed.

**Pros**

- Unlimited broadcasts from Pro up, against a monthly cap on the entry plan.
- 7 channels including RCS, SMS and WhatsApp voice calling.
- Support published in English and Portuguese on the entry plan.

**Cons**

- Astra is a paid add-on from Pro up, so the agent isn't in the plan fee.
- The entry plan allows no extra seats at all, so growing the team means changing plan.
- Wati doesn't publish plan prices, and third-party listings disagree with what it does publish.

**What this means for you:** ask for the Astra price in writing before you compare plans, because that cost isn't on the page.

## 4. Zenvia, best for buying messaging capacity with software

Zenvia's homepage pitches a complete AI solution for the customer journey. It's a Brazil-headquartered, Nasdaq-listed communications company with offices in Mexico City and Buenos Aires. It sells the software and the messaging capacity together, so it reads more like a messaging platform than a sales CRM.

**Pros**

- A free Starter plan with no time limit.
- 7 channels including SMS, RCS and email.
- A Spanish site with a Mexico locale, plus offices in two Spanish-speaking markets.

**Cons**

- Generative AI starts on Specialist, so Starter has none.
- Channel packages are bought separately, on top of the plan.
- One-off setup fees apply, including on Starter once WhatsApp is switched on.

**What this means for you:** add the channel package and the setup fee to the plan fee, because the plan alone is well under half of what you pay in month one.

## 5. Blip, best for enterprise-scale conversation flows

Blip's English site leads with "conversations that drive results". It's a Brazilian enterprise conversational platform whose published customers include Itaú, Coca-Cola and Casas Bahia, and its product page says its AI Agent resolves customer conversations 100% autonomously. It's built for volume rather than a sales team's daily pipeline.

**Pros**

- Published conversation caps and overage rates by tier, so volume is easy to plan for.
- 10 channels published, including Microsoft Teams and Google RCS.
- A free tier for up to two agents, enough for a proof of concept.

**Cons**

- Monthly plan fees aren't published, so a budget needs a sales call first.
- Which plans include Blip AI Agent isn't published either.
- Built for enterprise deployment, so a five-person sales team isn't the target buyer.

**What this means for you:** ask for the monthly plan fee. The caps and overage rates are published, so that fee is the only number you're missing.

## 6. respond.io, best for routing high inbound volume

respond.io offers to "scale business growth with every customer conversation". It's a messaging inbox built around routing each conversation to the right team, with AI agents handling the first exchange. Its own FAQ says those agents "are designed to work alongside human agents, not replace them", so a human still closes the conversation.

**Pros**

- Starter includes unlimited monthly active contacts.
- 8 channels published, including WeChat, Viber and LINE.
- A full Spanish-language site and pricing page.

**Cons**

- AI Agents start on Growth, so the entry plan doesn't carry them.
- Higher plans include a contact allowance, with extras charged per 100.
- Contacts and seats are billed separately, so both add to the bill.

**What this means for you:** if you're going for Starter because contacts are unlimited, price Growth too. That's where the AI agents live, and where the contact allowance and overage start.

## How Kommo alternatives compare on price

The plan fee is rarely what decides this, and on several of these platforms it isn't even what you end up paying. What matters is the unit each provider counts, because that sets whether your bill grows with your headcount, your customer volume, or the work the AI does.

There are 5 units in play across these 7 platforms. Kommo counts seats. SleekFlow and respond.io both count monthly active contacts, and respond.io adds seats on top. Wati counts messages on top of a subscription. Zenvia counts interactions, with channel capacity bought separately. Blip and Octadesk count conversations.

Two of them can go up without a single new customer. Seats go up when you hire. Conversations go up when you run a campaign or a delivery goes wrong.

Get the add-ons in writing too. An AI agent sold separately, a required onboarding fee or a channel package can cost more than the gap between two plan fees.

## How to choose a Kommo alternative

Don't pick for today's volume. Pick for the volume you'll have when the team hasn't grown to match.

Start with the outcome you want this year.

- **One platform for sales, marketing and support.** SleekFlow publishes coverage from the first click to repeat purchase, with broadcast campaigns and ticketing alongside the inbox. Octadesk and Zenvia also sell across service and campaigns. Wati is built around WhatsApp broadcasts, and Kommo centres on the deal pipeline.
- **AI that runs a conversation rather than suggesting replies.** SleekFlow, Wati, Blip and Octadesk all publish agents that handle a conversation end to end, in their own words. Kommo replies to inbound only, Zenvia publishes no end-to-end claim, and respond.io says its agents work alongside humans rather than replacing them.
- **More inbound handled without more hires.** SleekFlow and respond.io both bill on monthly active contacts, so volume doesn't add seats. Octadesk bills on conversations.
- **Something to test before committing.** Zenvia and Blip both publish a permanent free tier. The others run trials of 7 to 14 days.

Then rule platforms out on the constraints your customers set.

- **Selling in Latin America.** If your customers write in Spanish as well as Portuguese, SleekFlow publishes a Spanish site and Help Center, Zenvia adds a Mexico locale and offices in two Spanish-speaking markets, and respond.io publishes a full Spanish site. Wati publishes support in English and Portuguese. Octadesk publishes nothing in Spanish.
- **Channels beyond WhatsApp and Instagram.** Counted on each provider's own channel page, SleekFlow, Kommo and Blip publish the broadest lists, and Octadesk publishes 5.
- **A regulated industry.** Put certifications and a data processing agreement on your shortlist criteria and ask each provider directly, because what's published varies a lot across these 7 platforms.

Only then look at how each one charges, and be honest about which way it cuts for you. If you run a lot of seats against a modest contact list, a contact-based allowance is cheaper. If you run a small team against heavy inbound, which is the shape of plenty of B2C businesses, per-seat pricing can work out cheaper than any contact-tier plan here, SleekFlow's included. Run last month's numbers through both.

## Which Kommo alternative should you pick?

None of these 6 replaces Kommo's deal view, and a small team on a simple pipeline has little reason to move. What they replace is what gets expensive as you grow: an AI allowance that rises with headcount, a whole workspace on one tier for 6 months, and a per-seat fee that rose on 1 Sep 2026 for new customers.

And if the same team runs campaigns and answers support questions as well as closing deals, the shortlist narrows to the platforms that cover all three rather than the pipeline alone.

If you want AI qualifying leads and resolving support questions before a rep joins, see [the inbound AI agent](/en-us/agentflow/inbound-ai-agent) handle a live WhatsApp conversation.

### Does Kommo work well for Latin American teams?

Yes. Kommo's Brazil site prices subscriptions per user in USD or BRL, and its partner page covers Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru. The trade-off most Brazilian teams run into is the 6-month minimum across the whole workspace rather than anything about regional fit.

### What changed with WhatsApp Business API pricing on 1 Oct 2026?

From 1 Oct 2026, Meta starts charging per message for service messages, (free since Nov 2024) and for utility templates sent in reply inside an open 24-hour window (free since 1 Jul 2025). Accounts without a payment method on file by 30 Sep 2026 will have service messages stopped.

### What happens to your number and templates when you leave Kommo?

Your phone number and its quality rating move with you. Both are tied to the number itself under Meta's rules, not to whichever BSP is hosting it, and your messaging tier carries over the same way. Approved templates transfer too, so you're not rebuilding your library from zero. The one snag: each migrated template's individual quality score resets to "unknown" for about 24 hours after the move, even though the template stays approved and sendable the whole time. Plan for a same-day cutover, not a redo of your template library.

### Can you get out of Kommo's 6-month minimum early?

Kommo's published refund policy only spells out month-to-month cancellation: stop future renewals, keep access through the current billing cycle, no refund for the unused part of it. It doesn't say what happens if you cancel partway through a 6, 9, 12, or 24-month term, beyond noting that refunds outside normal cancellation are reviewed case by case. If the minimum term affects your decision, get the early-termination terms in writing from Kommo directly before you sign, not from a review site.

### Is Kommo the same as amoCRM?

Yes. amoCRM renamed itself Kommo in October 2022, and Kommo's announcement says the change came "purely from a branding perspective". It's the same platform, and the main change for existing accounts was the account link moving from an amocrm.com address to kommo.com. So if you're looking for amoCRM alternatives, every platform in this roundup applies the same way.
