SleekFlow vs Kommo: which AI WhatsApp CRM fits a growing LATAM business?
TL; DR: Quick Summary
- Kommo and SleekFlow both land on the shortlist for growing LATAM teams, and in our view they suit different shapes of business.
- Pick Kommo if your headcount grows faster than your conversation count, since it leads on regional language, local implementation partners, and Nuvemshop.
- Pick SleekFlow if your conversations grow faster than your headcount, for AI on every paid plan, native VTEX and Salesforce, and SOC 2 certification.
- What each one charges for drives that difference, with Kommo charging per user on a six-month minimum term and SleekFlow charging per monthly active contact.
- Whichever you choose, Meta bills WhatsApp messaging separately at country-specific rates, which often moves a LATAM budget more than the software line does.

82% of Brazilian micro and small businesses now use WhatsApp as their main sales and communication channel. When that much revenue moves through one inbox, the platform behind it earns some scrutiny.
Kommo and SleekFlow are both built for that job, and they charge for it differently. Kommo counts the people who log in. SleekFlow counts the customers you talk to. Nearly every practical difference between them, including how AI gets charged and what a busy December costs, follows from those two units.
If your headcount is climbing faster than your conversation count, Kommo's pipeline and its local partner network, working in Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, are a good reason to stay where you are. If conversations are climbing faster, SleekFlow keeps the bill tied to customers rather than headcount, with AgentFlow agents answering and qualifying on every paid plan under a fair use policy.
Meta bills the messaging on top of either subscription, and in Latin America that's often the larger number. Below is the side-by-side comparison of SleekFlow and Kommo - how each one charges and where each platform wins.
Kommo vs SleekFlow at a glance
Kommo and SleekFlow both run sales and support conversations on WhatsApp, both ship AI agents that answer first, and both charge more as you grow. They differ in what they count. Kommo organizes work around a sales pipeline, bills per user, and charges for AI in credits. SleekFlow organizes work around the customer conversation and bills per monthly active contact. Most of what follows comes back to that.
How Kommo and SleekFlow differ, feature by feature
The two platforms overlap more than a comparison page usually admits, and separate on six things: how WhatsApp connects, how AI is charged, how automation works, which business systems each plugs into natively, what each publishes about security, and how deep each one's local presence goes. Kommo goes first in each section below, since it's the incumbent most readers of this page are already using.
Channels, and how WhatsApp actually connects
Both platforms connect WhatsApp through Meta's official infrastructure, not an unofficial workaround, and both support coexistence: you can keep answering in the WhatsApp Business app on the same number while the API runs alongside.
Kommo's native route is the Meta Cloud API, and its documentation covers connecting an existing WhatsApp Business app account on the same number, with messages syncing both ways; only chats active in the last 30 days import, and the contact import can take a day. Kommo also supports connecting through third-party providers including Twilio, though it provides no technical support or performance guarantees for those.
SleekFlow connects as an official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider at Meta Select Tier. Our Coexistence setup has its own limits: group chats can't be viewed or managed from SleekFlow, and someone has to sign in to the WhatsApp Business app on a phone at least once every 14 days to keep the link alive.
On channels themselves, Kommo covers Telegram, Viber, WeChat, TikTok, and a website chat button; SleekFlow covers those plus LINE, which matters if you also sell into Asia.
What this means for you: stick with either platform's native WhatsApp connection if you sell in LATAM only, and look twice at Kommo's third-party fallback route, since it comes with no support guarantee.
AI agents, and how each one is charged
Both ship AI agents, summaries, reply suggestions, and voice-note handling. The difference is what you can count in advance. Kommo publishes a number you can budget against. SleekFlow publishes a policy.
Kommo's AI runs on credits. Each plan includes a monthly allowance per user. Credits reset each month, and unused ones don't carry over. Kommo publishes both the per-plan allowance and an estimate of what a single AI agent reply consumes, so a team can model its own volume before committing, and it sells add-on credit packages when the allowance runs short.
Kommo also restructured AI entitlements by tier on 1 June 2026: per its subscription-plans documentation, new signups on the entry plan no longer get the AI agent, while existing entry-plan customers keep it under the new limits. That entry plan still includes the unified inbox, sales pipelines, WhatsApp and Instagram, and Kommo's AI basics, which cover reply suggestions, summaries, task suggestions, and writing assistance.
SleekFlow doesn't charge per AI reply. AgentFlow agents are included on every paid plan subject to our Fair Use Policy, so a heavier week of conversations doesn't draw down a credit balance.
Being straight about the trade-off: we don't publish a numeric fair-use ceiling, so you can't model our AI usage on a spreadsheet the way you can model Kommo's credits. Ask for the ceiling in writing before you sign. What we do charge by volume is monthly active contacts, and that number does move with a busy month.
What this means for you: price each vendor against your busiest recent month, not an average one, in its own unit: seats for Kommo, active contacts for SleekFlow.
Elétron Seguros, a Brazilian insurance business, is a fair illustration of what changes when AI takes the first turn. They were running WhatsApp support across a distributed remote team on unofficial tools and physical devices, with no real-time visibility for managers. They deployed AgentFlow in a two-tier model, with an AI agent handling first-level inquiries around the clock and complex cases transferring to a human with full context plus an automatic scheduling link.
Results:
80% of conversations resolved by AI
20% intelligently transferred to the human team
No new hires required to sustain growth
Automation, pipelines, and routing
Kommo's automation centers on Salesbot, its no-code bot builder: it detects a client's intentions and responds with pre-made templates and workflows, sends rich messages across its channel set, and fires triggers on schedule or on customer behavior, including a delayed follow-up a set number of hours after the last incoming message. Salesbot and pipeline automation require the second tier or above.
SleekFlow's Flow Builder covers the same deterministic ground, and AgentFlow adds a layer that acts on the conversation itself: an agent reads intent, answers from your own knowledge base, takes an action such as checking an order status, and hands off to a human with the full thread attached. It also updates a contact's lifecycle stage automatically from what the agent and customer said, rather than relying on a rep to tag it at the end of a long day; that capability is recent, so treat it as new rather than battle-tested.
What this means for you: budget for Kommo's second tier if you need Salesbot. If you want automation that reacts to what's actually said rather than a fixed trigger, that's SleekFlow's AgentFlow layer, though pilot the newer lifecycle-stage automation before you rely on it.
Integrations, and the LATAM commerce stack
Native integrations matter more here than they usually do, because a WhatsApp conversation that can't read an order is a conversation a human has to finish.
Kommo's directory covers Shopify, Zapier, Make, Mailchimp, Stripe, Twilio, Zendesk, Lazada, and LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, plus two regional apps: Nuvemshop (Tiendanube) and Pluga. It doesn't list a native HubSpot or Salesforce connector; both are reachable through Zapier and comparable middleware, which works but adds a link in the chain.
SleekFlow connects natively to Shopify, VTEX, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google Sheets. VTEX is the one that matters most in Brazil, where it runs a large share of enterprise e-commerce. Fairness cuts both ways: SleekFlow doesn't carry Nuvemshop or Pluga, which is a real gap if you're a smaller Latin American merchant, and Salesforce sits above our entry plan rather than on it, with custom Salesforce work on Enterprise.
What this means for you: Nuvemshop and Pluga users lean Kommo; VTEX, Salesforce, or HubSpot users lean SleekFlow. Either way, check both directories for Mercado Libre, Mercado Pago, Pix, and boleto before you shortlist, since payment rails are what usually decide this for a Latin American merchant.
Language, onboarding, and local presence
Kommo is the stronger of the two on regional product localization. Per its own documentation updated 20 Aug 2026, Kommo ships its interface in six languages, two of them Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, runs fully localized Spanish and Brazilian sites with a knowledge base in each, and announced a Montevideo office in 2022. Its partner directory carries 451 listings globally, filtered to Central and South America across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, a genuine advantage for a team that wants a local implementation partner and one we don't match.
SleekFlow's regional presence is Brazilian and narrower. We have a São Paulo office, publish localized Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese sites, and our AI agents apply your Custom Answers across languages, so a Portuguese knowledge base can answer a customer writing in Spanish. We don't publish a LATAM partner directory, and our customer proof in the region is Brazilian rather than pan-LATAM.
What this means for you: want a local partner who invoices in your currency? Kommo's network wins that today. Comfortable self-onboarding without one? This shouldn't tip the decision either way.
Analytics, security, and what each platform publishes
For a regulated buyer in Brazil or Mexico this section decides the shortlist, and the short version is that one platform publishes more than the other while neither publishes everything.
Kommo's security page describes SSL encryption in transit, automatic backups every few hours, and rotating session identifiers. Its privacy policy positions Kommo as a processor for GDPR purposes and states that personal information may be stored anywhere in the world, including the United States, with no regional choice offered.
As of 28 Aug 2026, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and LGPD aren't referenced on Kommo's security, privacy, pricing, or terms pages, and while an SLA is listed among its Enterprise controls, no uptime figure is published. Single sign-on and enterprise-grade security controls sit on that Enterprise tier.
SleekFlow publishes SOC 2 Type II attestation, ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification (alongside ISO/IEC 27001:2022), states GDPR compliance, and describes a privacy program that accounts for regional laws including LGPD. Full documentation is available on request through our Trust Center.
What this means for you: if compliance sits on your buying committee, SleekFlow's SOC 2 and ISO certificates carry more weight in that conversation. Neither vendor commits to in-country data residency, an LGPD certification, or anything specific to Mexico's LFPDPPP, so get that in writing from both before you shortlist either.
Pricing compared: what each platform actually charges for
Neither platform's list price is the number that decides this, and both vendors sit on the same Meta rate card for the messaging itself. What separates them is which unit each one counts, on what term, and in which currency.
How Kommo charges. Per user, per month, on a minimum subscription of six months, with 6, 9, 12, and 24-month terms available and monthly billing not offered. The global pricing page states Kommo bills in USD only and points buyers to official partners who resell in local currency, while its Brazil site states per-user pricing in USD or BRL with a monthly instalment option.
There's no markup on WhatsApp messages: Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account directly. Kommo has announced a price increase on two plans from 1 September 2026 that applies to new customers, with existing customers keeping their current rate, per its own pricing guide checked on 28 Aug 2026.
How SleekFlow charges. By monthly active contacts, where a contact counts on two-way engagement rather than on storage or one-way broadcasts, with contact and user add-ons available above the volume included in your plan. Monthly and annual terms are both offered.
WhatsApp and SMS messaging fees are charged on top of the subscription on SleekFlow's own rate card, on top of Meta's pricing, which is a real difference from Kommo's straight pass-through and worth pricing out. We publish in USD on every locale page, including the Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese ones, with no BRL or MXN list, where Kommo's Brazil site currently states a BRL option. Current figures for your market are on our pricing page.
WhatsApp messaging fees are subject to change from time to time based on Meta's official pricing and rate structures, as well as other factors determined by SleekFlow.
Two commitment mechanics are worth modeling on both sides. Kommo's six-month minimum prepaid in USD is a working-capital question for an SMB, not only a price question. SleekFlow's discounted rate requires an annual term, which is a longer commitment than six months, so compare the total cash outlay rather than the monthly rate on either.
Meta's own currency support has moved, too: eligible customers could create WhatsApp Business Accounts billed in BRL from 1 July 2026, following eight new billing currencies including Argentine peso, Chilean peso, Colombian peso, and Peruvian sol from 1 April 2026.
What this means for you: per-seat gets cheaper as conversations per rep rise, and per-contact gets cheaper as reps per conversation rise. A small team absorbing very high volume often does better on a per-seat model. Build the comparison on your own ratio, and ask both vendors for a written quote on your real numbers.
Which one should you choose?
Start with the outcome you want this year, then the constraints that rule a tool out, then the commercial mechanics. BCG and Meta found that 63% of Mexican retailers reported a conversion-rate increase above 30% from pure messaging, so the outcome is well evidenced in the region. Getting there is a mechanics question, and in our view the split is reasonably clean.
Choose Kommo if your headcount is growing faster than your conversation volume, if you want a familiar deal pipeline in Latin American Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese from day one, if you want a certified local partner to implement and support it, if you sell through Nuvemshop, or if you need an AI cost you can calculate to the credit before you commit.
Choose SleekFlow if your conversation volume is growing faster than your headcount, if you want AI answering and qualifying without drawing down a per-reply balance, if you need a native Salesforce, HubSpot, or VTEX connection rather than a middleware hop, or if your buying process asks for SOC 2 and ISO certificates in writing.
Run the numbers harder if you're a small team carrying very high conversation volume, which describes a lot of Latin American e-commerce. That profile is the one where a per-seat model can come out cheaper than a per-contact one, and we'd rather you find that out from a spreadsheet than from an invoice.
The right AI WhatsApp CRM for a growing LATAM team
Both platforms will run your WhatsApp sales conversations competently, and both will charge you more as you grow. They differ in what they count, what they publish, and how close they are to your market. BCG and Meta found only 35% of Brazilian enterprises enable two-way conversational flows, a wide gap between where customers already are and where businesses have caught up.
If closing that gap with AI answering first is the shape of your next year, take a look at what SleekFlow does with the official WhatsApp Business API.
