Frequently Asked Questions
Is SleekFlow Voice a VoIP system?
Yes. SleekFlow Voice is cloud-based VoIP — calls run over the internet via Twilio's infrastructure, not traditional phone lines. You can buy numbers in SleekFlow or connect existing Twilio numbers.
Do I need a separate Twilio account?
No. You can buy a new number directly inside SleekFlow without setting up Twilio yourself, available for the US and Hong Kong right now. If you already have a Twilio number, you can connect it to SleekFlow regardless of country.
Which countries can I get phone numbers in?
US Toll-Free and US Local (10DLC) numbers are available at launch. Singapore is rolling out next, with Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, and UAE in the pipeline based on local licensing. Talk to us if you need a specific market, we'll let you know where we are in that country.
Can my team take calls on mobile?
Yes. The SleekFlow mobile app has a dial pad, inbound call notifications, active call controls (mute, hold, transfer, record), and the full call history. Every call lands in the same customer timeline as web calls, with the same recording and AI summary.
How does billing work for voice calls?
Voice calls share the same SMS & Voice wallet as your messaging. Charges are per-minute based on Twilio's rates, deducted from your wallet balance. You'll see a usage breakdown in billing and can export it as CSV.
Does SleekFlow support IVR, voicemail, or call queuing?
Not today. SleekFlow Voice is built for teams handling calls inside a unified inbox, with smart routing and AI summaries on every call. If IVR menus, voicemail, or queue music are critical for your team, talk to us and we'd like to hear how you'd use them.
Is call recording and transcript data secure?
Yes. Recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries are stored on the same infrastructure as the rest of your SleekFlow data, with the same access controls and permissions. You can configure whether recording runs automatically or only when an agent toggles it on a per-call basis.
Can I use my own SIP trunk or carrier (BYOC)?
Not today. All numbers run through Twilio. Talk to us if SIP or BYOC is a hard requirement for your setup.
Does SleekFlow support WhatsApp Business Calling?
Not today. SleekFlow Voice handles standard phone calls via Twilio, separate from WhatsApp. Customers still reach you on WhatsApp for messaging, and on your Twilio numbers for calls. If WhatsApp Business Calling matters for your team, talk to us.
